Black Art—Ancestral Legacy: The African Impulse in African-American Art

Black ArtBased on a major exhibition organized by the Dallas Museum of Art, this exhibit surveys the work of forty-five artists, including unknown Africans and Haitians, through fifty-four photographs, two color posters, and concise texts.

Exhibit format:

Exhibit is available in convertible and freestanding formats. When displayed as freestanding, it stands 76” high. All panels are 24” x 36”.  

Freestanding version: 10 two-sided panels
Shipping weight (2 wooden crates): 204 lbs.
Floor space required: 12’ 3” x 6' 3”

Convertible version: 20 one-sided panels + legs 
Shipping weight (3 wooden crates): 392 lbs.
Wall space required: 60' (running)
Floor space: 12’ 3” x 6’ 3”
