Ice Age Art
This exhibit traces the invention of art back 30,000 years to people who lived in caves or huts of bone and animal hide and used art to express their understanding of the world.

Organized in 12 panels with 34 photographs, a time-chart, a museum replica of a Venus figure, and an exhibition title poster, Ice Age Art is based on a show that was presented by the Dallas Museum of Health and Science (now The Science Place), featuring the scholarship of archaeologist Alexander Marshack.

Freestanding only. Exhibit is presented in 12 panels (6 double-sided units) with charts, drawings, and paintings arranged behind plexiglas. Panels measure 24"; wide x 36";high and attach to wooden poles to stand 68" high.
